INEOS Women Drive Day Mt Mee - 21 November
INEOS Women Drive Day: Build Your Track Confidence at Mount Mee
Following requests from our female members for more behind-the-wheel experience, this day is designed specifically for women who have completed their 4WD training and want more practical track time in a relaxed, supportive group environment!
-
8:00–8:30 AM – Meet & Briefing: We’ll kick off with a morning catch-up and briefing over coffee at the Silverwood Cafe in Dayboro (our updated starting point). Grab a coffee, catch up with everyone, and walk through the plan for the day before we hit the dirt.
-
The Drive: We’ll head into D'Aguilar National Park, following the park tracks up toward the lookout. The route features manageable, beginner-to-intermediate terrain that is ideal for getting comfortable with low-range driving, handling your vehicle on dirt, and building real-world trail experience.
-
Morning Tea & Recovery Practice: We’ll pause at the lookout for morning tea (bring your own snacks or pick something up at the Dayboro bakery). Along the way, we’ll take time to step outside the vehicles and get hands-on with some practical recovery practice. The route itself is relaxed and straightforward, so we aren't expecting any difficult trail recoveries—this is purely a great opportunity to practice recovery techniques together.
-
A Well-Deserved Long Lunch: We’ll wrap up the day with a fantastic long lunch at the Ocean View Estates Winery.
Whether you recently completed your training and want to get more kilometres on the tracks, or just want a fun day out driving alongside other women, this is the perfect chance to build your confidence behind the wheel.
