Event Description:

It’s time to get out and put these awesome machines in their natural habitat! Join Stu—who brings over 25 years of experience tackling the Glass House Mountains—for an adventurous day conquering the more difficult trails of Glassy. We’re heading out to prove the mighty Grenadier is just as formidable as a lifted and locked Jeep, but with a lot more style and comfort!

Expect proper wheeling with underbody scrapes and bumper touches along the way. We will stop throughout the day for morning tea and lunch, and we’ll also have a videographer tagging along to capture highlights for the club.

Vehicle & Trip Requirements:

• Vehicle Setup: Lifted vehicles with diff lockers are highly recommended. A 295/70/17 tyre setup is ideal (smaller tyres are welcome, but will increase track difficulty).

• Mandatory Gear: A working winch and decent recovery gear are required for self-recovery.

• Weight Reduction: Keep vehicles as light as possible. No rooftop tents, and please unclip awnings for the day to maintain a low centre of gravity. Ditch all unnecessary weight!

• Passengers: Maximum of 1 passenger per vehicle to minimize weight and distractions (partners welcome!).

• Catering: Self-catered — please bring your own morning tea, lunch, and water.

Things to bring:

• An empty and lightweight Grenadier
• Nothing on your roof, no awnings
• A sense of adventure. 
• Clean underwear
• Your Grenadier in roadworthy condition. 
• Outdoor clothing, closed in shoes, sun protection 
• Food and drink for the duration including road trip snacks, lunch, and water/beverages. 

• Personal medications, as necessary. (including bug repellant if you need it)

• UHF radio - hand held will be ok due to our proximity.

• Tyre deflator and air compressor (Portable compressor will be carried in the guide vehicle along with fire extinguisher and first aid kit)
