It seems like there never is a dull moment in the INEOS club life! The June newsletter talks about our migration to the Jungle

 

Dearest club members!

May has resulted in learning about what will be a classic event for our club in years to come. The K’gari cleanup was a huge success and a trip report can be found in the jungle (our new platform!). We had the opportunity to ask questions to Justin Hocevar on what is happening with INEOS Automotive in Australia during the Victorian club meeting. Our clubs have been catching up to assure we stay aligned with each other and it is great to see how our friendship is growing. 

The biggest item on everyone’s mind in May was the migration to Member Jungle and our initial launch platform has now replaced our previous website, Facebook and whatsapp. Some excellent work done by Joel’s team meant that the delivery was on time and in scope of what was agreed. The new chat rooms replace our previous whatsapp chats and every event comes with their own chat room and set of documents. 

All our events are now listed on Member Jungle and replace the previous Facebook events in the private club group. https://www.ineos4x4clubqld.com.au/events

We continue to improve the benefits for our club members and the new business directory is available at the Member Jungle platform. Justin has shown how easy it is for sponsors to update their own details in the business directory as he has become the latest Sponsor of the club, welcome on board Euro Flo! We are trying to find a place for everything in Member Jungle and sometimes we move stuff around to improve it. We have 2 initiatives under the “resources” tab which have been created for club members and the details can only be found after you have logged in. The Windscreen protection page outlines the agreement we have with Cleaplex. We also have an event for the 5th of July where we arranged the guys to come out to Brisbane and install the protection for the Grenny’s in Brisbane. The socket page outlines the discount code for the raised air intake pre filter now available because of Camilo’s help in NSW. The Benefits page outlines the growing list of discounts our club members can enjoy, including a 5% discount on club 4x4 insurance. K’Gari cleanup

What a fantastic event. This trip never misses and is a must do for all 4WD Adventurers. There is a detailed outline of the trip in the Jungle! PDF’s are also available in the “documents” section for easy reading. Big Thanks to Doug and Anne for taking control of this event!

 

Gordon Country

The Gordon Country weekend was a great success, beautiful sunny days and chilly evenings made for one of the best camp fires with lots of great banter between members and non members. Doug and Anne made it the most interesting trips we had so far! If you like to read how, we will refer again to the Jungle where our trip reports live. There is also a large amount of pictures in the pictures section of the jungle. We are going to try and see if we can premiere the movie at our club night next week. 

 

Peter Smith has resigned as Vice President and as the Club Committee we accepted his resignation. Peter is one of the founding club members and we would like to take this opportunity to thank him and Jenny for their hard work and contribution to the club.

 

With the migration to Member Jungle now completed we will continue our club chat (the Whatsapp member chat) to Member Jungle. https://www.ineos4x4clubqld.com.au/chat-room

We will continue to use the Grenadiers owners Queensland facebook group for social posts on Grenadiers and like to send our congratulations to Tino for doing an amazing job on reaching 1000 members and keeping it clean and interesting! Since all our events have been migrated to the Jungle we don’t need a private club facebook group or whatsapp chats which will hopefully simplify everything and make it all easier to find for everyone! (if you can’t find it, it’s probably in the jungle)
