Australian-Made Rear Seat Plate for the INEOS Grenadier
Hey Grenadier owners,
For those looking to maximise cargo space and build flexibility in the Grenadier without fully committing to a permanent rear seat delete, you might already be familiar with the other versions made by overlanding companies in the UK.
(we have taken a public picture on the left from buzz overland and asked ai to make an Australian version of it)
It is a fantastic system—a lightweight, bolt-on 4mm aluminium deck that attaches directly to the factory rear seat frame, giving you a completely flat load platform with integrated L-Track tie-down slots. Because it utilises a clever 70/30 split design, you can easily remove just one side to keep room for a passenger (or your dog) while packing heavy gear on the other, or remove both sides for full cargo mode. Best of all, it installs or removes in under 30 minutes with absolutely no drilling required.
Bringing a Local Touch to the Build
We know that shipping large, heavy-duty components from the UK to Australia can quickly become cost-prohibitive. Because of this, we are exploring the feasibility of coordinating a locally manufactured, Australian-produced version of this quick-change rear seat floor plate.
An Australian-made run means we can bypass steep international freight costs, support local manufacturing, and even add some distinct local character to the final product—such as custom laser-engraved kangaroo branding and official "Australian Made" badging.
Let Us Know If You're In!
If we have enough Grenadier owners (you don't need to be club member) we can ask our local network of parts providers if they want to help us.
If you want a flat, flexible, and fully reversible cargo setup for your Grenadier, please take a moment to drop your details in our expression of interest form:
