To go on this trip you need to register with 4wd queensland (as part of the ineos 4x4 queensland membership this is included, you just need to sign up on the 4wd queensland website

11 dollar Registration includes discounted barge rates from barge operators, free 4 day vehicle access permit and free 4 day camping permit (within QPWS zones) during period of the event.

Vehicle Registration Number Plates

Please ensure your vehicle registration number is kept up to date as this information will be provided to QPWS for the issuing of vehicle access permits after registrations close on the 19th of March.

There are now number plate recognition cameras on K'gari. If you need to change your registration plate number before the event there is a form to update your rego on the cleanup website under the account tab. https://www.4wdqld.com.au/kcu-update-vehicle-rego
